Jeffery Kazukiewicz is currently performing extensively as an orchestral player, chamber musician, and soloist performing with ensembles such as New England String Ensemble, Portland Symphony, Landmark Orchestra, New Hampshire Symphony, Boston Virtuosi, Vermont Symphony and others. Mr. Kazukiewicz has appeared as a guest soloist numerous times performing the Tchaikowsky Violin Concerto, Tzigane by Ravel, Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5, Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1 and Meditation of Thais by Jules Massenet. Mr. Kazukiewicz was guest artist in the Ludwig Diehn Series held at Old Dominion University where he premiered and recorded the Sonata for Violin & Piano by L. Diehn. His live performances have been broadcast via WBFO Buffalo 88.7 NPR Radio and WGBH Boston Radio. He was the former first violinist of the Marini String Quartet.

In addition to the classical world Mr. Kazukiewicz was the violinist for the Grammy Nominated Jan Lewan Orchestra. With them he has recorded six albums. He was also active with Steven Sondheim and Arthur Laurents, in the revival production of “Do I Hear a Waltz” by Rogers and Hammerstein. He has made an appearance performing in the Schubert String Quintet in the movie “The Human Stain” starring Anthony Hopkins and Nicole Kidman,. He also appears frequently with many popular performers of past and present such as Ray Charles, Smokie Robinson, Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman and others.

Mr. Kazukiewicz began violin studies at the age of 7 in Buffalo, NY under Nancy Ulrich Benz, Frances Bagdol Kaye, and Charlie Haupt of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. By age 14, he was awarded Town Proclamation award for “Highest Commitment to the Arts.” He continued on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree from Ithaca College under Pamela Gearhart and Debra Moree and his Master’s Degree from the University of Akron where he was the teaching assistant to Alan Bodman.
